ABOUT THE LEAGUE
At the League of Women Voters of Bloomington, we are dedicated to ensuring every citizen has the knowledge and opportunity to participate in the democratic process. Our mission is to empower voters and protect the integrity of our democracy through education, advocacy, and community engagement.
The League of Women Voters of Bloomington is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization that works to influence public policy through education and advocacy. We are committed to making democracy work for everyone by promoting informed and active participation in government.
For our monthly meetings, we meet
The first Tuesday of the month
6:30-8:00 pm
McLeod Conference Room, Bloomington Civic Plaza
NOTE: No meeting in August & the November meeting takes place on the 2nd Tuesday

Register in advance to vote in the Primary Election by July 1
Primary Election Early Voting: June 26 - August 10
Primary Election: August 11
Register in advance to vote in the General Election by October 13

WHAT WE DO
The League of Women Voters of Bloomington works year-round to make democracy stronger and more accessible for everyone in our community. We register and educate voters, host candidate forums and issue discussions, and create resources that help people cast informed ballots. We also engage students and young people through programs like the Civics Bee, building the next generation of civic leaders. Our work is nonpartisan, community-based, and focused on giving every voter a voice.
